Get down to the Penny Black on Wednesday 1st August from 7.30pm to see a range of talented musicians take the stage for open mic night. Each act gets 5 - 10 minutes to show off their skills and impress the audience. All performers are entitled to a free schooner, while everyone can enjoy $12 jugs and $10 parmas all night long! Brunswick is the place to be on Wednesday nights in August!

 

Snow Patrol

Northern Irish rockers Snow Patrol are gracing Australian shores in August, stopping in at the Palais on Thursday 2nd August. The band are touring their 7th album, Wildness, released in May of this year. This special, one-off Melbourne performance will be held at the beautiful, recently restored, Palais Theatre in St Kilda and is sure to be a winner with Snow Patrol fans new and old. The Babe Rainbow

9th and 10th August

Psychedelic pop rockers The Babe Rainbow are playing two shows at the Corner Hotel this August. Selling out Friday 10th in no time at all, the Byron Bay group added a second show set for Thursday 9th August. Expo Liaison will see the likes of John Farnham, Alice Ivy, Total Giovanni and more, grace the stage for a day of excess extravaganza. With over seven hours of entertainment carefully selected by Client Liaison themselves, you’re bound to have a great time! Luca Brasi

24th August

Tassie rockers Luca Brasi are coming to Melbourne in August, playing the Croxton with Tiny Moving Parts and Eliza & the Delusionals. Celebrating the release of their fourth album, Stay, Luca Brasi are paying Thornbury a visit as part of a national tour. These boys are one of Australia’s most loved bands today, so this gig is one not to miss! Luca Brasi will be at the Croxton on Friday 24th August.

28th and 29th August

Pink pandemonium continues at Rod Laver in August! Playing a whopping nine Melbourne shows in July, Pink is sticking around for another two on the 28th and 29th of August. Australia’s favourite international pop icon, Pink’s live show is an experience unlike any other. Australian electronic duo Flight Facilities are heading off on a massive national tour to support the release of their new single All Your Love.
