Nick Anderson's Unique Vocals Transform Melbourne Weddings

Rachel Chipp

Nick Anderson is so popular with our wedding clients and for good reason. On top of being a really nice guy, his vocals are so powerful that they effectively convey all the emotions of your wedding day and then some.

Nick’s repertoire contains the beautiful ‘You and Me’ by Lifehouse, ‘Falling Slowly’ by Glen Hansard and ‘Stand by Me’ by Ben E. King. The different messages and tones to these songs cover all the shades of love, meaning that Nick Anderson can cover all aspects of your wedding day: from your touching, beautiful song choice as you walk down the aisle, through folk ballads during canapés, to rocking out to his incomparable belt at the wedding reception - this guy does it all exceptionally well!

It’s common practice to have a father-daughter song at a wedding, but Nick goes one step further to acknowledge the special bond between a father and son by performing Cat Stevens’ folk rock song ‘Father and Son’. With lyrics describing a son finding his destiny and a father dispensing advice, that includes the lines, ‘Find a girl, settle down, If you want you can marry’, this song provides the perfect parting note to send a man off on his way to his new life with his partner.

Nick’s voice sounds way more mature than his years, making it a natural fit for songs that dispense wisdom. He sounds like he is drawing from years of experience. Nick is in fact an experienced musician, having performed with Australian legend, Kate Ceberano. In this video, he sings her song, ‘Stars and Satellites’ with her and his distinguished sound really stands out, adding new layers and textures that skyrocket the song to a whole new level - even Kate Ceberano looks in awe!

Our wedding clients all agree that booking Nick Anderson to provide the soundtrack to their special day was the best decision they made.
